We are proud to be the only app that provides gifting on-demand from your favorite local stores. With afloat, you can shop curated gifts for any occasion at your fingertips – with the added benefit that it will show up at your recipient’s doorstep beautifully packaged. Say goodbye to spending hours searching for the perfect gift. Gifting can be meaningful AND convenient with afloat. Just download the app and start gifting. We’ll handle the rest.

afloat is currently live with local stores Kansas City and Dallas.

In the Kansas City area, we offer same day delivery (unless otherwise noted in the item’s description) on orders placed before noon and next day delivery on orders placed after noon in the following zip codes: 66208, 66205, 66207, 66206, 64113, 64112, 64111

For orders outside of those zip codes, we ship from our Kansas City office via UPS 2-Day Ground to any US address. Gifts ordered before noon will ship the same day, and gifts ordered after noon will ship the following business day. Depending on how far the gift will travel, allow 1-3 days for delivery.

In the Dallas area, we offer same day delivery on orders placed before noon and next day delivery on orders placed after noon in the following zip codes: 75205, 75225, 75209

For orders outside of those zip codes, we ship from our Dallas office via UPS 2-Day Ground to any US address. Gifts ordered before noon will ship the same day, and gifts ordered after noon will ship the following business day. Depending on how far the gift will travel, allow 1-3 days for delivery.

All gifts on afloat are ready to go, with no customization required. Gift offerings on afloat are updated regularly to ensure each gift is unique and meaningful. To ensure that all gifts can be delivered or shipped expediently, we do not currently offer customizations on most gifts.

For floral arrangements or perishable items, you may enter requests in the box titled “Any special requests?” during checkout. Our retail partners will do their best to accommodate your requests while maintaining the gift’s price and delivery expectation.

Right now gifts on afloat can only be sent to a single recipient per order. Need to order the same item for a few people? You can place as many orders as you wish and afloat saves your payment information to make checkout quick and easy!

Many of our local retail partners offer gift bundles so you can send a few great items in a single gift. Right now this is  the only way to send multiple items in a single order, but you can place multiple orders if you see a few gifts you want to send. Add a note in the special requests box during checkout if you’d like multiple orders delivered or shipped together.

Each of our local retail partners will make sure your gift looks beautiful using their own brand’s gift wrap. The gift will then be placed in our custom afloat bags or boxes before being delivered or shipped to the recipient.
